The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo | Nintendo Switch
Meridiem Games has revealed that point-and-click adventure game The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo will have a physical release on Nintendo Switch and PS5 with two different versions on September 7, 2023, Meridiem Games will be responsible for designing and manufacturing editions of The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo which will be on sale in specialist stores across Europe.
For this physical release, Meridiem Games has prepared two physical editions, the first is the Fantabulous Edition that includes an exclusive cover, different for each platform and the exclusive keychain of the character Mr. Coo. already to Coollector Edition, which will not only include the Mr. Coo character keychain and exclusive artwork case for each platform, but also adds a unique flipbook with two exclusive animated stories, a mystery watercolor by artist Nacho Rodriguez, a puzzle featuring the pieces of Mr. Coo, an artist’s book showcasing the creative process behind the art and finally a cultured 7” vinyl single with the music of the game composed by Julie Reier, all inside a spectacular collector’s box.
Only 1,000 Coolector's Eition units will be produced, if you want to guarantee a copy, you can check all available stores on the Meridiem Games website.
About the game
The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo is a surrealist point’n’click graphic adventure. Mr. Coo is stuck in a weird, nonsensical world, and he needs your help to get out of it -but first of all, he needs to find all his pieces and be whole again!- There might be some philosophical strife behind all this nonsense, but with all the chaotic monsters, crazy robots and one-eyed ladies, it’s kinda hard to say.
With an astounding and colorful hand-drawn 2D cartoon art, and a surrealist and whimsical story, full of absurd humor, wacky characters and crazy situations and innovative puzzles, The Many Pieces Mr. Coo is a fresh take of the graphic adventure genre that will bring together veterans of these gamers and newcomers alike.
Mr. Coo and this game are creations of the acclaimed artist Nacho Rodríguez. 2D animator and director, Rodríguez has been nominated to the Goya Awards for his short film “A lifestory”. He also was lead animator of the game O.zen at Ubisoft. Mr. Coo is one of his most celebrated characters, having appeared in several hilarious short films.
