Irem Collection Vol. 2 | Nintendo Switch
ININ and Strictly Limited Games, in partnership with irem and Tozai Games, have announced physical editions of Irem Collection Vol. 2 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. Exclusive and highly limited editions are scheduled for release in Q1 2024.
Irem Collection Vol. 2 will have two editions: limited (4000 copies) and collector (2000 copies); the latter includes a game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation 5, a collector's edition box, a game manual, the original soundtrack on 3 CDs in one jewel case, a DIY Mini Game Box Reproduction for GunForce, Visual Compendium, reversible posters, a flyer set, a marquee sticker, and an irem Collection Vol. 2 arcade coin.
All physical editions will be available for pre-order starting July 16, 2023, exclusively from the Strictly Limited store.
About each game included:
- GunForce (SNES, M-92 Arcade)
This Run and Gun gem will include both the SNES and Arcade versions. Whether you played the original on your childhood SNES or prefer the much-improved Arcade version, we've got you covered!
- GunForce II (M-92 Arcade)
The official sequel to GunForce never made it out of the arcades, making this release its first official worldwide launch on consoles!
- Air Duel (M-72 Arcade)
Rounding out Volume 2 is another arcade-exclusive game. Air Duel was only ever released in Japanese arcades, and this marks its first official worldwide release on consoles. In this classic shoot 'em up, you can switch your aircraft before every new stage, a feature that was groundbreaking back in the day!

Irem Collection Volume 2 on cartridge in a game case with an exclusive, limited and serialized cover sheet.
- Collector's Edition Box
An outstanding premium box with magnetic latch in special retro art style to collect the game and all of the collector’s items for this edition. The format will be amended to 4:3 to transfer screen vibes of that time to the box; it will still have same width and height to make sure it looks good in the shelf next to other Strictly Limited Games Collector's Edition.
