Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet | Nintendo Switch | Physical Release

Nintendo has announced a new physical release for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, this new physical edition arrives on November 3, 2023, and will include The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. So far the games are confirmed for Europe and Japan, and presumably North America will also see it on the same day.

This type of release has become quite common on the part of Nintendo and its main games, a few weeks ago a new release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was revealed, this time including the Booster Course Pass DLCs

However, fans are a little dissatisfied with these releases, as just as in Mario Kart 8 not all content will be included on the cartridge, in Pokémon the Teal Mask is immediately accessible, but players will need to download an update to The Indigo Disk.

It's unclear why Nintendo and The Pokémon Company aren't simply waiting for the second part of the DLC to release a full physical version, just as it's unclear why they aren't waiting for the final DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to be released.

It was also revealed that whoever purchases the package will receive a serial code for 100 Poké Balls as a bonus.
