Limited Run Games is preparing the physical release of Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X. The animated adventure game developed by Seedy Eye Software is scheduled for a digital release on February 14, 2024.
Those who opt for the physical editions will have two options: Standard and the collector's Edition. The latter includes a physical copy of Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore with a retro-styled slipcover, box and slipcover, original soundtrack, retro-styled CD jewel case with slipcover, art book-world map, shopkeeper acrylic standee and an enamel pin.
Arzette was developed by Seth "Dopply" Fulkerson known for the unofficial remakes of Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon released on Linux and Windows in late 2020. To avoid problems, Fulkerson made the remakes unavailable for download after two days. The developer has since started working on Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore.
During the game's announcement in 2023, it was revealed that Jeffrey Rath and Bonnie Jean Wilbur, voice actors for Link and Zelda in the CD-i games, are voice actors for characters in Arzette.
Pre-orders begin on February 2nd on the official Limited Run Games store and run until March 17th, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. eastern time.
