After 20 years of its original release on PC, TSUKIHIME A Piece of Blue Glass Moon is receiving a physical release in a Limited Edition on Nintendo Switch and PS4, it is the first time that the game has left Japan.
TSUKIHIME A Piece of Blue Glass Moon will have its physical edition released on June 30, 2024, each copy includes, Switch Game: Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, "Tsukihime Material I: Material of Blue Glass Moon" Art book, Special Illustrated Box.
The remake was first talked about in 2008 and since then there hasn't been much information, confirmation came from Anime Expo 2023.
Tsukihime was Type-Moon's first visual novel, giving rise to different expanded versions, the sequel Kagetsu Tohya, the spin-off 2D fighting series Melty Blood and several adaptations for other media, such as the manga and anime Lunar Legend Tsukihime.

TSUKIHIME -A piece of blue glass moon- collects the two tales that make up the "Near Side of the Moon" portion of the original Tsukihime: Arcueid's scenario, "Moon Princess," and Ciel's scenario, "Midnight Rainbow."
Creator Kinoko Nasu has painstakingly disassembled and rebuilt the story, updating the setting to 2010s Tokyo and expanding the narrative. This reimagined presentation will exhilarate players with its hard-hitting tension and realism.
