Limited Run Games gave more details on the physical editions of Clock Tower Rewind on the Nintendo Switch. The enhanced version of the classic, originally released on the SNES in 1995, will also hit the PS4, PS5, and Xbox in 2024.
Two editions are planned: the standard edition and the collector's edition. The latter includes a physical copy of Clock Tower Rewind, original soundtrack, a 12" x 16" double-sided Poster - Featuring Original Art by Horror Master Shintaro Kago, an acrylic standee, Dan Barrows Stress Ball, Ham Object Enamel Pin, a Demon Idol keychain, and a sticker sheet.
The new version of Clock Tower Rewind was initially revealed in July 2023 during the Limited Run Games Showcase, which showcased several games including; Gargoyles Remastered, Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, Jurassic Park: Classic Games Collection among several other games that should also gain more details over the next few months.
Clock Tower Rewind was developed on Limited Run Games' Carbon Engine; this new edition maintains the original version's authentic gameplay, graphics and sound, while adding features and enhancements. This includes a new vocal theme song performed by Mary McGlynn (Silent Hill series), a new animated opening, pre- and post-game comic cutscenes, a bonus art gallery, border art, save states, multiple language options, and a lot more.
Pre-orders for physical editions of Clock Tower Rewind on Nintendo Switch and other consoles begin on May 31st and last until June 30th, exclusively at the Limited Run Games store.
